Zane May 2011
Zane went to Seattle with Mom and Dad for his great-grandfather’s funeral. Here we are walking over the Deception Pass Bridge.
Zane was rocking out at the airport. My camera on my phone was too slow to catch it.
Then we went to Zion National Park. Dad hiked Angel’s Landing. Mom and Zane came as well, but they stayed at Scout’s Lookout.
It may have been too dangerous to take Zaners to the top…
The roaring Virgin River from our friend’s backyard
Zane went swimming for the first time at the hotel in Springdale….
…if you call that swimming. He did not like it very much.
Tonight he’s being a pill and won’t go to sleep. He just wants to play with mommy and give her kisses.
I need a DSLR – I like my sister’s photos much better!

New highchair
Zane got a new highchair!

As is typical, no smiles when the camera comes out. It's funny to us because he is a super smiley boy.

Wait, what's this? A smile?

And another one? This is just before his bandage is taken off his toe by the doctor. We'd hadn't seen it before today. It looks great! Now Zaners has 10 toes. He already moves them separately, like that's how they always were. The plastic surgeon did a great job. When Whitney went into the plastic surgeon's office for Zane's checkup, the nurse and other patients thought Whitney was there to get some work done. I have no idea what Whitney could do to look any hotter than she is now.

Zane recently sat on his great-grandma's lap. He quickly realized it wasn't mommy...
