Whitney at 30.5 weeks! She's been doing great, no complications. We are very blessed. We have a name picked out, but we aren't telling anyone until he's here, so don't even ask.
The baby's room is almost done. We painted and built a trinket shelf around the perimeter, a little over 6 feet off the ground. We still need to paint the baby's dresser. We're looking for a frog-green spray paint. Any suggestions on where we can get that color? We've tried Home Depot and Walmart, but their greens aren't what we want. We'll post a picture when the room is finished.
We're very excited to meet the little guy.

lookin' good Whitney!!!
ReplyDeletego to an actual paint store. They can custom mix the color for you. You'll just have to paint with a brush or roller.
You are so cute Whitney! You look great! I can't wait to meet him either!!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! That room sounds like it will be super cute.
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to say, I'm intensely curious about this name.
Yes, we know about mixed paint, but we want to spray paint this.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I don't know about the paint color. But spray painting is difficult. It runs and drips and the quality isn't as good as hand-painting. If Home Depot doesn't have that color then I don't know who will.
ReplyDeleteBy the way Whit you look really great!
So I just did a spray paint project. I left a message for whit about a thing that makes normal paint spray out with aerosol. I didn't love it. They (home depot) did say that there is a store up here that will custom make your paint and make it actual spray paint. I'd recommend that. Probably you can find a store around you to do that.
ReplyDeleteAnd as long as you just do several light coats you shouldn't have a drip problem.
And allthingsthrifty recommends Kilz Primer---I loved it. It covered well and made the paint go on so nicely.
